Opening on 1st March 1977, The Idiot Tour visited three countries and played twenty-nine performances. The band consisted of: Iggy Pop (Vocals), David Bowie (Extended Piano and Backing Vocals), Ricky Gardiner (Guitar), Tony Sales (Bass) and Hunt Sales (Drums). UK punk band The Vibrators supported Iggy for the six gigs in England. In the USA and Canada, Blondie supported from the 13th March onwards.
